10.4% - 60 IBU Whiskey and beer have almost always lived behind the bar together. To celebrate this lasting kinship, Jameson has partnered with 16 craft breweries, including Bale Breaker, to be part of the Jameson Caskmates Drinking Buddies program.
At 10.4% ABV and 60 IBU, The Ossifier is a crisp, west coast Imperial IPA aged for six months in Jameson Whiskey barrels. Pineapple, tangerine, and coconut dominate the aroma, while a smooth malt backbone pairs with vanilla, oak, and whisky flavors. It finishes dry with just enough bitterness to remind you that this is still an IPA. Drink up, but be careful not to ossify yourself, lad.

This year's batch of Dormancy Breakfast Stout incorporates even more oats with the malt, plus an intense coffee presence, thanks to over 1 lb/barrel of Costa Rican beans roasted by Yakima's Lincoln Avenue Coffee Co. As winter settles in to the Pacific Northwest and the hop fields surrounding our brewery lay dormant, this beer was crafted to remind us that good things can still happen in the off-season for hops.

Not intended to be a palate wrecker, we opted for a more subtle approach to this popular style. Skagit Valley grown Copeland malt partners with large amounts of rye to create a slightly spicy, dry backbone. Combine this with both Mount Hood and Centennial hops and you a get an extremely approachable, floral IPA – all while keeping the overall bitterness in check
HELLES LAGER . . .
Each helles lager of our four part “Single-Malt Summer Lager Series” is made using the same hop blend and yeast strain, however each features a different single malt variety by Skagit Valley Malting. Each of the four malts used (Pilot malt, NZ-151 malt, Talisman malt, or Francin malt) bring their own unique flavor profile to this traditional German-style beer. One thing’s for certain, every one of these helles lagers are crisp, clean, and super refreshing! We couldn't have done it without kick-ass ingredients from Skagit Valley Malting, Crosby Hop Farms and Imperial Yeast.

Named after our quadruped ambassador, Steven, our newest beer is here just in time for summer. We brewed it with pale malt and a generous amount of Vienna malt, and then we hopped it with some newer, but milder, hops. Meridian, Lemondrop, Crystal, and a small amount of Simcoe provide the grassy and floral hop aromas and some slight herbal and piney notes. This beer is low alcohol (below 5%) yet still flavorful and hoppy.

Groove Pineapple Wheat - This ale is the result of our collaboration with the Moses Lake band, Dimestore Prophets.
